This policy explains how Hot Girls Love Animals Club (HGLAC), a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, collects, uses, and protects information when you share feedback on our advocacy and policy work, including the Animal Welfare is Human Welfare Act of 2026.

1) What we collect

Required: Your feedback and basic contact info (name, email).

Optional: Organization/affiliation, city/state, role/expertise, and consent to public recognition.

Automatic (online forms): Basic technical info (e.g., timestamp). We do not sell your data or track you across sites.

2) How we use your information

Review, analyze, and incorporate feedback into policy drafts and engagement plans.

Contact you with clarifying questions.

If you opt in to recognition: Acknowledge your contribution in non-statutory materials (e.g., reports, thank‑you pages, press materials).

Recognition is optional and never affects whether or how we consider your feedback.

3) Public recognition (opt‑in)

No public recognition (default).

Name only (e.g., “Jane D.”).

Name + affiliation/title (e.g., “Jane Doe, [Org/Title]”).

You may withdraw recognition consent at any time by contacting us. We will remove your name from new publications and correct online copies where feasible.

4) Legal basis & expectations

We process your information to advance our U.S. social‑welfare mission and engage the public in policy development. Contributions/dues are not tax‑deductible. We may publish aggregated or anonymized summaries of feedback; we will not identify you unless you opted in.

5) Sharing your information

Vendors: Trusted service providers (forms, email) under agreements limiting their use of your data.

Legal/Compliance: When required by law or to protect our rights or users.

No sale of personal information.

6) Data security

We use safeguards appropriate to the data (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit). Avoid including highly sensitive personal details in your feedback.

7) Data retention

Feedback content: Kept for program and policy recordkeeping.

Contact details: Kept as needed to manage engagement, then minimized or deleted.

Recognition records: Kept while acknowledgments remain published or until you withdraw consent.

Request updates or deletion of your contact information.

Withdraw recognition consent at any time.

Opt out of non‑essential emails.

9) Children

Feedback activities are intended for individuals 13+. If a child under 13 submitted personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
